Kısmi sertleştirme, karbon çeliği, kesici uçta 65 hrc sertlik, wenge sap, demir pimler... Ha bu arada, ismini de efendisiz kalınca seppuku yapan 47 isyancı samuraydan alıyormuş. İlginç bir bıçak.

The tomato test is the best  :) You mentioned steel has historical origins, could you detail it a bit more. Is it made from an old billet ?

Yes,  packaging blade steel spring about a hundred years old, the edge is of historical rasp, old age do not know exactly.
